Artist: Jonathan WinbushStudio: Black Mesa Design
Info from Winbush: “This project was a pitch for a WB Games logo animation to be used in front of their mature gaming titles such as Arkham City, Fear3 and Mortal Kombat. The challenge was trying to create a setting in which you can easily rebrand the intro depending on the game it would be used for. I tried to use color moods that would match each game’s main character’s style – I choose blue for Batman and red for Fear3. The client loved the idea at first but felt because of the limited time frame we had to produce these it wouldn’t be feasible.”
